As one of our newest destinations, Brazil offers wonderful polo opportunities set in beautiful
surroundings. Play with professionals from around the world, improving your game and having
the time of your life. Our host is Philip Eliot
an English polo pro who with his wife has settled down here to teach polo .Philip personally
accompanies guests and provides
coaching in accordance with the level of the visitor.
Accomodation
One guest house, with 2 bedrooms.
One guest suite.
One further guest house with one bed. Santa Helena Polo Farm allows you to play polo amidst the natural beauty
of the interior of Sao Paulo. All equipment is provided, as well as the use
of their ponies, born and bred on the farm. For beginners, wood horses are
available for you to start your training.
Meals:
Served at the main house or by the swimming pool.
All the accommodation is situated in a 2 acre garden next to our Polo Club,
which has 2 polo grounds a tennis court, club house and swimming pool.
When polo is not being played, there is tennis, squash, and golf.
You will also enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding area and
the wonderful hospitality that is offered by the Junqueira Novaes family.
Polo:
Ponies are available and included in the price;
for club chukkas, farm polo and stick
and ball. The farm polo is very good and lots of fun, usually with barbecue
afterward. The Brazilians are very hospitable. The rainy
season is Dec/Jan. There is a small farm near by were Philip trains polo
ponies. We will also have a friendly match or practice on the nearby Santa
Helena Farm a private facility, during your stay at Philip and his wife’s
estate.
Airport collection:
Is by comfortable a/c car. The road from the
airport is excellent, but is a 5 hour journey. There are comfortable, clean
and safe places to stop. Helicopter transport can be arranged from airport
of arrival.
